Tucked away behind the brewery’s back door, this cosy workshop is where Veeru the Bear swaps his red hoodie for a brewing apron and dives head-first into flavour discovery.

A Lab Like No Other

Our lab isn’t a sterile room of white tiles. Instead, imagine warm wooden beams, flickering Edison bulbs, and shelves lined with glass jars brimming with Assam tea leaves, wild peppercorns, fresh ginger root, and sundry spices foraged by our Bear Club scouts. At its centre stands a custom oak‐lined kettle, hand-tuned for small-batch tests, where every stir and steam tells a story.

Veeru’s Role as Chief Flavor Officer

Veeru doesn’t just pose for selfies—he leads the charge. With his signature black-rimmed glasses perched on his snout, he inspects each aroma, dips his paw for a careful taste, and notes the balance between sweet, sour, and spice. His “paw-print approval” is the green light we need before moving from test kettle to full-scale brew deck.

Community-Driven Innovation

True to our roots, the Secret Lab is a community workshop. Our Bear Club members—homebrewers, flavor fanatics, and curious sippers—gather around a roaring fire pit just outside the lab door to sample every test batch. Their feedback (and spirited debate) shapes the final recipe. One member’s suggestion to add a dash of kaffir lime leaf gave birth to our “Citrus Ember IPA,” now a crowd favorite.

From Lab to Can

Once Veeru and the tribe agree on a winner, our brewmaster scales up the recipe, ensuring that each can captures that original spark of creativity. Rigorous quality checks follow, from fermentation tests to carbonation calibrations, all overseen by Veeru’s keen eye.
